Patents
We provide clients with a full range of patent services, including the drafting, filing, and prosecution of patent applications; appeals; licensing and assignments; and the enforcement of patents through negotiation and litigation. In addition, we offer professional advice on patentability, validity, and infringement.
Our patent team comprises attorneys, registered industrial property attorneys, and technical specialists with academic backgrounds in law, physics, mechanical and electrical engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, chemical manufacturing processes, and computer technologies. Many of these professionals previously served as senior examiners at the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam (IP Vietnam), studied scientific disciplines or intellectual property law at internationally recognized universities, or worked as researchers or scientists at leading universities or research institutes before joining our firm. Additionally, LÊ & LÊ has a unique network of specialists across various technological fields, enabling us to handle patent matters with high quality and cost-effectiveness. The translation of patent documents is performed by our team in cooperation with skilled and vetted external translators.

Copyrights & Related rights
Copyright is a right granted by law to the author of original works in the literary, artistic, or scientific domain, such as books, works of fine art, dramatic works, musical works, photographic works, motion pictures, architectural works, and computer programs. To qualify for copyright protection, a work must be original (independently created). Copyright arises automatically as soon as a copyrightable work is fixed in a tangible form. There is no requirement to register copyright in Vietnam. However, a copyright registration certificate constitutes prima facie evidence of the validity of the copyright, which is highly useful to the copyright owner in infringement litigation.
Related rights (neighboring rights) are granted to performers, producers of phonograms, and broadcasting organizations.
