On February 28, 2011, Lê & Lê succeeded in opposition against trademark VASLASELL in Application No. 4-2007-19466 in the name of Viet-Thai Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. on the following grounds: (i) there was a likelihood of confusion between the opposed trademark VASLASELL and the earlier French trademark VASTAREL (in the name of Biofarma); and (ii) this likelihood of confusion was very likely to be increased as the earlier trademark is very strong.

March 4, 2011, Lê & Lê succeeded in requesting the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Science and Technology to handle the acts of trademark infringement and unfair competition by Viet-Thai Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. and Thanh Nam Pharmaceutical Production Trading Company Ltd. against Biofarma.
